Okinawa Freelance – How It Works


Okinawa Freelance vision is to find a simple way to allow buyers and sellers to work on projects together on a trusted platform while stationed overseas.

Our focus is communication between buyers and sellers, only when buyer is confident that the seller is competent should they buy.

Getting Started!

  • First - go to My Profile and add your Public Profile Name and Public Upload Profile Picture

  • Next - choose 1 Payment option, Link Bank Debit Account, Primary Credit Card, or PayPal

  • Final - link US bank account or PayPal for fund withdrawal

  • Now – Go to Seller or Buyer and Post a Service or Job Postings

Seller - Post your Service

  • Click on Post Your Services and complete all steps

  • Access to list of all your available services

  • Edit, Deactivate, Social Medial Share and Delete your services

  • Post as many service as you can provide

Buyer – Job Postings

  • You can post as many jobs for freelancers to review and send you offers or messages

  • You can review freelancers’ bids/offers and go to Oki-Freelance Offers and search available service that matches your job posting.

  • You can Edit, Deactivate, Social Media Share and Delete your Job Posting

Search Box

  • Buyers and Seller can search for specific freelance services and buyers request

  • Compare Packages and read reviews

  • Message sellers or buyers with question

  • Add freelancer to favorites and save for later

  • Request custom order after negotiations

Make a Purchase

  • Select the package you like and select and proceed to check-out select a payment method and make payment

  • After payment you will be brought back to your live job and you can start working and communication with your seller

Seller Live Jobs

  • You can view all your live job

  • They are separated, by Processing, Delivered, Cancelled, Expired, and All

  • Live Job Message explained

    (Send Button with clip) right side, send general work and question message and documents

    (Upload Final Documents) Only when your work is completed send your final document, pictures, videos and files to buyer for review and acceptance

    (Request Extension) – allows you to request more time to complete your job. You can request extension without funding or you can request additional funding, depending on your negotiation with the buyer. (Extension are perfect for on-going work requirements)

    (Cancel order) – If you cannot finish for any reason - you will not receive payment

  • Document and Pictures will have (Okinawa Freelance Jobs watermarks) to keep everything fair

  • Rules – requesting or providing Email addresses, Skype/IM usernames, telephone numbers or any other personal contact details to communicate outside of Okinawa Freelance is not permitted and could cause removal from our platform.

Buyer Live Orders

  • You can view all your live jobs that are Active, Processing or Completed

  • They are separated, by Processing, Delivered, Cancelled, Expired, and All

    Buyers Live Job Message explained

    (Send Button with clip) right side, send general work and question message and documents

    (Accept Order) When you feel the seller has finished your request successfully Accept order and give a fair review of the service provided.

    (Request Revision) If you feel that there is more work to be done, request a revision with a detail explanation on what exactly you need to accept the job.

    (Cancel Order) You will receive the option to cancel the order only when Time Expires. Please give seller every opportunity to satisfy your job requirements before canceling, accept extension or request extension from seller if time is running out.

Messages

  • Receive messages from buyers or sellers about service questions, orders, pricing and documents.

  • Send custom orders to buyers

Buyer - Buyers Request

  • Here you can see all buyer requests.

  • Sellers can send custom offers – Contact Buyer – or Remove request from your list

Favorites

  • Save freelancer that you are excited about and need time to decide

  • Add Freelancer to your cart to purchase later

Profile

  • Profile Picture

  • Add your service public profile picture and name that will represent you and your service

  • Billing Method

  • Payment methods, Bank Debit Account, Primary Credit Card, PayPal

  • Withdraw Funds

  • Add your bank account to receive directly deposit

  • Withdrawal with directly to your PayPal account

  • Option to add money to digital wallet for payment of services

  • Contact Support

  • Support is to help you get started and answer questions, please feel free to contact us and please keep in mind that we do not get in the middle of service disputes,

Digital Wallet

  • (Add Money to Wallet) you can add money to your digital wallet to make fast purchases

  • Seller Total Earned is the amount of money that was earned working on our platform

  • Buyers Refunded Amount, when a job is canceled for any reason the buyer received money back for purchase

  • Sellers Pending Clearance, money is waiting for buyers approval of your service, money is released after buyer approves your final documents.

  • Withdrawn, this is money that you have withdrew to your bank or PayPal

  • Available for Withdrawal, this is money that you can withdraw at any time or use to purchase more services

  • Withdrawal Amount to Bank – you need to set up your bank in the profile section so you can withdrawal funds directly to your bank account

  • Withdraw Amount to PayPal – you can withdraw money directly to your PayPal account

  • (Export to CSV) you can download all your transaction

  • Billing Method

Sellers Levels

Resolving Issues with an Order

  • If you have an issue with an order, we recommend you work things out with your buyer before contacting Customer Support. There are very limited things we can do, and all transaction is final. Please work it out…

Independent Contractors - Not Employees

  • We do not send out tax forms.

  • Sellers don’t work for Okinawa Freelance, you are considered self-employed workers using this platform to run your own business

  • Please check with tax accountants in your location
